She has experience working in both mainstream and special needs schools, interacting on both an individual and classroom group basis to build social, physical and cognitive development through play, music, arts and communication.
Prior to joining TDCC, Donna worked as an educator in a private mainstream school in Ras Al Khaimah. She also worked in Mauritius for a year to support a 3 – year old learner with autism. This was as an in- house position where she applied the basics of ABA therapy under the tutelage of a trained ABA therapist. It was this experience that sparked her desire to work with children who have additional needs.
Teaching has stimulated her passion to unlock each child’s potential. Donna believes each child should be given every opportunity to achieve their individual potential.Back to Team
