From an early age Angelique knew that her passion was helping children reach their full potential. Angelique used her passion and drive to obtain a B.Ed Degree in Early Childhood Development and an Honours Degree, through the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa, Specializing in Learning Support. Angelique sees herself as a lifelong learner and is currently in the process of completing her Masters in Applied Psychology through Middlesex University, Dubai.
Creativity, Play and Multisensory learning is the fuel that drives her teaching practice. Angelique believes that each child learns in their own unique way and that creative teaching and learning methods can support student’s academic and socio-emotional development.
Angelique has supported a variety of students with a vast span of needs from the ages of 3 up to 16 years of age. She has supported children with Down Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Auditory Processing Disorder, children with Cognitive Developmental barriers, as well as those with dyspraxia. Angelique also enjoys supporting those academically gifted students or students who require tutoring within the areas of science, social studies and language and literacy development.Back to Team
