MEASURING PROGRESS

At The Developing Child Centre our approach is simple. We believe every child is brilliant and we nurture and build children’s confidence and abilities. We are dedicated to identifying, building and developing skills required by all children to feel confident and succeed.

The Developing Child Centre employs over 60 professionals, providing a range of multi-disciplinary services for children from 1-18 years of age, including therapy and development of language & communication, fine & gross motor skills, learning & academic support, psychology programs, behavior management & support programs, and a full time early intervention program for children under the age of 8.

Step 1: Evaluation & Assesments

We pride ourselves in providing an individualized approach to meet the diverse needs of every child. Every child has an initial assessment helping us identify their stage of development and enabling us to produce an individualized program focusing on their specific needs.

Step 2: Early Intervention

Enrolling children, aged 2-8 years of age, that miss or have delayed developmental milestones in a full time educational program that provides intense & individualized support.

Individualized educational plans (IEP) are developed for each child and daily classes are open from 8am to 1pm, Sunday to Thursday.

Step 3: Empower

The Developing Child Centre’s wide scope of private services & small group course programs are aimed at building the skills children need to empower them socially, academically, emotionally, physically and/or behaviorally.
